Gongos Research: Statistician

Analyzing quantitative data and interpreting the results are the key roles for this position. You will support the research consultants within the Analytics Department, designing research, interpreting data and executing statistical analysis for internal and external clients. As a Statistician, you will support the development of project study design, research plans, analytical methodologies, and the analysis of data. You will also work with and support Gongos Research’s project teams within the Consumer Product, Retail/Services or Transportation/Technology Divisions. Developing trust with our clients is essential. The ideal candidate will have exposure to a variety of research techniques and methodologies, excellent statistical and mathematical skills, initiative to take ownership of the project analytics, and the desire to learn, grow and be challenged within a dynamic and innovative company.

Position Requirements:

Passion for quantitative marketing research
BA degree in statistics or a social science discipline with an emphasis on quantitative methods…a master’s degree, a plus
Knowledge and/or experience with descriptive and multivariate statistics
1-2 years marketing research experience, a plus
Aptitude for research design, analysis, and statistical assessment of quantitative data
Working knowledge of SPSS or other statistical software program, a plus
Excellent project management skills
Good writing and analysis skills
Ability to multi-task and effectively manage deadlines
